Arriving just ahead of his new album Half Price at 3:30, producer and songwriter Art Feynman (aka Luke Temple)'s fourth single 'I Can Dream' is an elevating slice of subtly surreal alt-pop. Superseding a series of equally trippy early outings including his transportive lead track 'I'm Gonna Miss Your World' and last month's irresistibly groovy 'Not My Guy', 'I Can Dream' is both somber and idealistic. Built around subtly detuned synths, that wouldn't sound out of place on an Aphex Twin track, Temple's fragile vocal delivery feels intimate and sincere, creating the allusion that his half-whispered singing style is trickling directly into the listener's ear. Half Price at 3:30 will arrive this Friday (26th of June) via Western Vinyl. -Holly Mullineaux
